This gorgeous spicy milky drink has been rebranded as turmeric latte, and someone did tell me the traditional name is turmeric milk. I don’t know if that’s true, but I do know how comforting and cosy this drink is.
The following recipe is one I like but feel free to play with the spice mix.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 mug milk
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder or 2 inches of turmeric root grated
- A pinch of black pepper
- A couple of pinches of ground cardamon
- A couple of pinches of cinnamin
- 1/2 a teaspoon of grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon of maple syrup
METHOD
Blend or mix all the ingredients and heat through.
